Brassicasterol shows dual anti-infective properties against HSV-1 (IC50=1.2 µM) and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and cardiovascular protective effect. Brassicasterol exerts an anti-cancer effect by dual-targeting AKT and androgen receptor signaling in prostate cancer.
